Flute Gara

The brand new Flute Gara has been added to the game! Flute Gara features two new characters: Rone and Orin's fellow musician Fluene Affetto, and Mialy's junior and admirer Illumis.

We'll be sending out CosmicBreak Collectible Cards featuring Fluene Affetto to the first 100 people who roll her from the Flute Gara!

Now that Rone, Orin, and Fluene have all arrived at the Cosmic Ark, they can perform together. Rone Amabile AM2 and Orin Fortissimo AM2 have gained the ability HARMONIZE; when they use this ability in conjunction with Fluene Affetto AM2's HARMONIZE, the three will play a song, granting Extend Support, Extend Support ALPHA, Extend Support BETA, and the new Revive Sound effect. Revive Sound is a special status effect that may only be granted once, and allows the affected unit to automatically recover 150 HP one time just as its HP hits 0.

Flute Gara also contains new versions of Mialy and Shino, as well as a number of other exciting new robots, parts, and weapons. Flute Gara will only be available until 8/23, so make sure to check it out now!

Triple Mega Garas?!

Not one, not two, but three new Mega class Garapons are now available! The Mega SUGOI Gara andMega EVE Gara each contain a wide selection of rare humanoid characters, and the Mega ROBO Garacontains a hand picked lineup of CosmicBreak's most popular robots.

Many of the rare characters in these Mega Garas have been unavailable in their original forms quite some time, making this the perfect opportunity for new players to roll them! It's also a great chance for you older players to roll for any robots you missed. The three Mega Garas will only be available until8/23, so act fast!

Elisa-chan in the Shop

A new chibi, Elisa-chan, has been added to the Shop for 80 Rt! Elisa-chan is the second chibi in theMini Chibi Collection Campaign; players who collect all three of the campaign chibis will be sent the following fabulous prizes once the campaign is over:

Week Long Multipliers!




In celebration of the big update this week, we've turned on 1.5x multipliers for UC, Exp, and Drop Rate! The multipliers will begin from 3:00 4:00 Server Time (Sorry, due to a slight error on our part the multipliers won't kick in until 4:00 Server Time, 7/19.) and remain on until 7/26 maintenance. Enjoy!

Bazaar

We will be holding a Bazaar Event this Saturday (7/21) from 0:00 Server Time to 24:00 Server Time. Trade away stuff you don't need and pick up anything you do!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Since the addition of Bazaar to the game, we have been receiving an increased number of reports regarding accounts being stolen and/or cleared out due to password sharing. REMEMBER, NEVER TELL ANYONE YOUR PASSWORD!!! If you lose items/robots from your account because you told somebody else your password, it is highly unlikely that we will be able to help you, especially if the incident involves said items being traded away via the Bazaar. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Other


    - Quests have been shuffled.

    - The Sword Gara, Robo Gara, Robo Gara 2, and Daily Gara have ended as announced.

    - Mighty Girl-chan has been removed from the Shop as announced.

    - Cosmic Commander Chaos Rooms have ended as announced. *Snort*

    - The Level Up Campaign has ended as announced.

    - Bug in which the Skip button for opening Lotto Cubes was being displayed incorrectly has been fixed.

    - Bug in which Victorl AM3 could not be purchased from the Parts Shop even after being obtained once has been fixed.

    - The name of the weapon "Combat Gatling" has been changed to "Compact Gatling" in order to fix a translation mistake. This name change has not affected the performance of the weapon.

    - We have become aware of the fact that Feng Mei BD/BD2's Capacity was raised on 6/21. While this change was unintentional, we have decided to leave it as is, rather than reverting the parts to their old Capacities.


Balance Adjustments

Eris related:

- It is now possible to use a Wonder Bit while under the Curse status effect.

- Cost and Capacity of Eris BD have been increased.

- Eris BS's REJECTION may now only be used 5 times in a row.

- Force of Eris AM's EX-BLADE has been decreased, and the additional damage caused when the attack hits has been reduced.

- The following adjustments have been made to Eris AM2's DARKNESS HIDE:

* Ammo has been changed to 10.
* Crimson Veil effect has been removed, and the ability will now be canceled once the user has taken a certain amount of damage.
* Additional damage caused when the attack hits has been reduced.

- The following adjustments have been made to Rulegnis's GLINT STRIKE:

* Speed has been increased, and the user will now face the target when the attack is used.
* Force has been decreased, and Hyper Shot will no longer effect the attack.
* A cool down period has been added after using the attack during which it may not be used again.

Resha related:

- Cost and Capacity of Resha BD have been increased.

- Hyper Shot will no longer affect Magnus Curse's MELUC.

- The following adjustments have been made to Resha AM/AM2's AMOT VAINIC:

* Clearance has been added to the effects granted by the ability.
* Units hit by a melee attack while under the Amot Vainic effect will now be knocked back in the same way as they would if they were not under the Amot Vainic effect.
* When Amot Vainic is cast on allies, the effect time and period until the ability may be used again have both been shortened. The number of attacks absorbable by a shielded ally has also been changed to 5, regardless of whether the Amot Vainic ability has been strengthened or not.
* Graphical effect of the Amot Vainic effect which absorbs fewer attacks has been changed, in order to visually differentiate it from the version which absorbs more attacks.

- The following adjustments have been made to Resha's Book's VOX ALTUS:

* Ammo has been changed to 20, and the user will now be unable to move for a period of time after using the attack.
* The homing time of the projectile has been shortened.
* The period of effectiveness for the hitbox generated when the attack impacts has been shortened.

Other:

- The following adjustments have been made to the LIGHTNING GUN attack of Haruka Langit's Lightning Buster and Akane Vermell's Lightning Buster W:

* The number of shots which may be fired in a row has been increased, and a cool down period has been added after using the attack during which it may not be used again.
* Damage inflicted by the explosion generated on impact, which was disproportionately high compared to the damage inflicted by the bullet itself, has been reduced.
* Range of the attack has been decreased to more accurately match the ability's stated RANGE stat.
* Graphical effect of the attack impact has been altered in order to reduce the computational strain on users running slower computers.
* Projectile size for Haruka Langit's Lightning Buster has been made smaller.
* Range of Akane Vermell's Lightning Buster W has been increased.

- Range of Monica Gold's Payrocket has been decreased.

- Ivis AM4's SACRIFICE X has been changed such that the target is no longer forcibly thrown into the air at the end of the combo.

- The amount of HP recovered by Ivis BD5's CRIMSON VEIL X has been lowered.

- Cost and Capacity of Ivis BD5 have been increased.

- Seraph Crimrose LG3's SERAPH NOVA's range has been decreased, and the amount of damage inflicted by the hitbox generated on impact has been reduced.

- Flapjack LG's TAKEOFF's interval has been increased.

- Projectile size for Flapjack AM@ has been made smaller.

- The following adjustments have been made to the BEAM CANNON attack of Flapjack AM@ and Plasma Beam Cannon:

* The attack will no longer pass through allies.
* Damage inflicted by the explosion generated on impact, which was disproportionately high compared to the damage inflicted by the bullet itself, has been reduced.<
- Sylvia AM2's GUARD may now only be used 5 times in a row.

- Sylvia's Sylvia Shield Bit now has HP, and may thus be destroyed.

- Homing ability of Persenachia's Dead Recall has been decreased.

- The stun probability of some of Persenachia's Dead Sect's melee attacks has been lowered.

- Range of Thoarla BD8's JUPITIZER has been decreased.

- Projectile size for LL Bulk Gatling has been made smaller, and force and has been decreased.

Note: For an official statement regarding balance adjustments, please see this newspost. Based on a combination of user reaction to the aforementioned newspost, and our own test playing, the characters that we ended up adjusting differ somewhat from the originally posted list. However, our goals remain the same; we hope that these adjustments will help make CosmicBreak more enjoyable for all players. Thank you all for your understanding!

[IMPORTANT] Revoking Tune Ups: As announced before, we are allowing all Tune Ups made to parts that have undergone balance adjustments to be revoked for free. All materials from revoked Tune Ups will be recovered, including Ex Tune Up materials and campaign prize materials that are not normally recoverable. Tune Up revocable parts include all parts specifically mentioned in the adjustment details above, as well those which are locked to the following characters:

    - Eris
    - Resha
    - Harula Langit
    - Akane Vermell
    - Monica Gold
    - Ivis (HD Edition)
    - Seraph Crimrose (HD Edition)
    - Sylvia
    - Persenachia
    - Thoarla Callisto

The time period for freely revoking these Tune Ups is from 7/19 weekly maintenance until 8/30 weekly maintenance. Tune Ups may be revoked at the Cosmos Pot Reset.

Fixed as of 7/19 unscheduled maintenance:

    - Bug in which equipping certain AM parts such as Adone AM2 to the Beam Missile AMJ would crash the clients of all players in the area has been fixed.

    - Bug in which Haruka Langit BS@2 and Akane Vermell BS@2 were not freely Tune Up revocable has been fixed.

Fixed as of 7/23 unscheduled maintenance:

    - Various strange bugs which would occur after someone in the room used Fluene AM's WIND RAMPART have been fixed. This fix should solve recent problems in Arena such as attacks being unable to inflict damage, and bullets never running out.
